Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan
The Amerindian ceremonies of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan are ancestral rituals inspired by the spiritual traditions of the indigenous peoples of Abya Yala, designed to reconnect with Mother Earth, the community and the sacredness of life. These practices seek to honor fire, tobacco, water, air and earth as living elements and mediators of healing and vision, inviting introspection, encountering oneself and recognizing unity with the universe. The Sacred Fire acts as a ceremonial center where people from all cultures gather to participate in temazcals, tobacco ceremonies and other ritual forms with deep indigenous roots.
