A day to honor nature, water, trees and fire
Ruka Kreis Heidelberg invites you to participate in a special day of celebration of the Summer Solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year. Through three moments of encounter inspired by ancestral traditions, we will share experiences of connection with nature, gratitude and personal renewal.
Program
- Arboretum Hike – Giant Sequoia Forest
A drive to the Arboretum to pay homage to the majestic trees and celebrate the force of nature.
Meeting point: Gaisbergstraße / Hans-Böckler-Straße
Time: 07:00 hs
- Offering to the Water – Neckar River
Meeting by the river to make a symbolic offering of gratitude to the water. Participants are invited to bring a personal contribution: a song, poem, flower, movement, or any gesture of gratitude.
Meeting point: Neckarwiese
Time: 10:30 to 11:30 hs
- Temazcal – Purification Ceremony
Cleansing and renewal ritual around the fire. A space to leave behind burdens, worries and doubts, and open yourself to a new cycle with respect, awareness and spiritual connection.
Meeting point: Turnernenbrunnen Hiking Parking Lot (Wanderparkplatz Turnernenbrunnen)
Time: 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
